The Croatian Section of ECOVAST, in cooperation with the local NGO “Prijatelji baštine – Amici hereditatis” from Ivanić-Grad is organizing a conference on the topic MODELS FOR MANAGEMENT OF HISTORICAL TOWNS REVITALIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES. This will be the fourth conference organized within the framework of the “Small Towns” project.
The conference will take place in Ivanić-Grad on November 11, 2011.

About Ivanić-Grad:
Ivanić-Grad lies on the left bank of the Lonja river, in Moslavina region, 40 km east of Zagreb. Economy of the region is based on the production of oil and natural gas, light industry and medium and small sized businesses that provide services in civil engineering, tourism, hospitality industry and trade. Health resort “Naftalan” (a naphthalene spa), located in the centre of Ivanić-Grad, is known as a health resort specialised in skin conditions treatment.

How to reach Ivanić-Grad:
Ivanić-Grad is located along the A3 motorway Zagreb – Lipovac, exit Ivanić-Grad. To plan your arrival by car we recommend ViaMichelin.
There are frequent trains to and from Zagreb main station (Zagreb Glavni kolodvor) – travel time is between 35 and 50 minutes (depending on the type of the train). Bus connections are also available.
